Yoga and Meditation Circles for Moms of Children with Special Needs.

Two of the most powerful tools I found to ease my anxiety, fear and overwhelm was through developing a personal yoga and meditation practice. I learned that while practicing yoga, I got out of my thinking mind and began connecting to my body in ways I never had before. I started to pay attention and really listen to what my body needed. I stopped giving it all the things it did not need and gave it more of what it did need. My health improved dramatically as I strengthened both my body and my immune system, and I  shifted into a more optimistic mindset.

Meditation developed an inner pathway to more calm and peace. Although a struggle at first, with practice I was able to quiet the relentless voices of worry, doubt and fear constantly at play in my head. Over time, my meditation practice has become an essential self care lifeline that brings me tremendous peace and balance.

Moms Yoga and Meditation Circle for Moms of Children with Special Needs 

As a mom of children with special needs, do you find yourself feeling emotionally and physically drained, and overwhelmed with all that needs to get done, with never enough time? Then it is time to slow down, reclaim your spirit and re-ignite your desire for deeper connection with self, others and your inner Divine source. Gather the tools you need to draw from your innate ability to not only survive but thrive as a woman and mother with unique and challenging parenting responsibilities.

Come join a group of like-minded moms who share a common bond of mothering children with unique challenges that requires an extraordinary degree of stamina, courage and faith. This group meets weekly for multi-week sessions in which we will practice gentle restorative yoga, explore a variety of meditation techniques, mindful breathing, helpful self care tools and group sharing to connect to our neglected deeper spirit while also building a supportive community. Together we will nurture our bodies, minds and hearts as we practice life enhancing practices to help us navigate motherhood with more ease, grace, peace and joy. 

– Wednesdays beginning September 12, 2018 from 9:30 am – 11 am  
– Fall session dates are: 9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 10/31, 11/7, 11/28, 12/5, 12/12, 12/19 (please note there is no class on 11/14 or 11/21)
– Roots and Wings Healing Arts Studio (lower level) 317 N. Main Street, Natick Massachusetts
– Cost: 13 week session is $390 if paid in full or option to pay monthly via PayPal autopay of 3 monthly payments of $135.
